NB4 Is a bird box house that was handbuilt by NatureNet team, its around 220mm x 480mm and has a dahua ip network camera inside for you to constantly monitor its presence. Its around 2.5 meters up securely into a tree, and roughly 35 metres away from the mammal feeder!

during its first year, it is possibly unlikely that any birds will make there way into the box, but we are hoping for some bird sightings throughout the year of them peaking into the box!

Bird nesting season is between February and August. However, these dates can vary by the species and the weather.

For the camera we have dug a 50m cat6 ethernet cable underground that connects from our POE network switch to the bird box directly. To avoid any network issues we installed it mostly underground and along our fences to avoid any breakages due to foxes or rodents biting cables or the mowers/strimmers cutting up the cable.
